Six stone jars, and the work of filling them.
At the wedding in Cana (John 2), there were six stone water jars. Jesus told the servants to fill them with water, and they filled them to the brim. The miracle came after.
Our work is filling the jars: building a website, organizing a member list, printing a bulletin. Ordinary things. What happens on top of them belongs to the church, and to God.
So church money goes to ministry.
As church members, we have seen how much churches spend on websites and upkeep: money going to features nobody uses, and vendors charging more because it is a church.
So we kept only what is needed and set a price a church plant can afford. A dollar a day. I hope it lets churches put a little more into ministry.
Small, and hands on.
Design, printing, the website and member records are all handled directly by a small design studio in Vancouver. It is affordable not because we are big, but because we are small.
